Short answer: unless you're on an Enterprise plan, there's no subscription to cancel. The app has no monthly fee — you only pay the 1.2% app fee when you take a payment. To stop using Payment for Stripe, disconnect your Stripe account. Enterprise plan owners can also cancel the plan from the Enterprise dashboard.
How do I cancel my Enterprise plan?
- Sign in at enterprise.payment.co with the owner account.
- Open Billing.
- Tap Manage subscription. That opens Stripe's billing page for your plan, where you can cancel it.
Once the plan ends, your app fee goes back to the standard 1.2%. Canceling stops future charges. We don't refund the rest of a billing period you've already paid for.
How do I disconnect my Stripe account?
- Head to paymentforstripe.com/disconnect and tap Disconnect your Stripe account.
- Sign in to Stripe to confirm it's you.
- Check the business name, email and account ID, then tap Disconnect account.
You can double-check it worked at dashboard.stripe.com/account/applications. Disconnecting also cancels an Enterprise plan right away.
What happens to my payments and data?
Nothing is deleted. Your Stripe account, payment history and payouts stay exactly where they are in Stripe. The app just can't take payments for that account anymore. Changed your mind? Open the app and sign in with Stripe again.
Is logging out the same thing?
No. Logout in the app only signs that phone or tablet out — your Stripe account stays connected. Use the disconnect page above to fully cut ties.
Stripe is asking me to "Transition account."
That's the last step of disconnecting. Here's what it means: Complete Stripe account transition after deauthorization.
Want to close your Stripe account too?
Disconnect first, then close it from your Stripe Dashboard. More here: How do I close my account?
