Short answer: Staff sign in with the email and password their employer created in Enterprise, not with Stripe. If that fails, the cause is usually a mistyped password, a locked account, or the wrong sign-in button.
Use the right sign-in
- On the welcome screen, open the overflow menu at the top (three dots) and tap Enterprise Login (Android: Enterprise login).
- Enter your Email and Password, then tap Log in.
Don't tap Sign in with Stripe. That's for business owners with their own Stripe account.
Wrong email or password
The username or password combination was invalid. Please contact your employer or administrator.
Ask your employer or administrator to check your email and set a new password. They can do this in Users by clicking Edit next to your name. They have to share the new password with you, since the system doesn't email it.
Locked out
After 10 wrong passwords the account locks. It unlocks on its own after an hour.
Kept getting logged out
Your employer can sign you out of the app on purpose with Log out. If so, sign in again with Enterprise Login.
I'm in the wrong company
Each staff login belongs to one company, and an email address can only be used once. To switch:
- Open the menu and tap Add Account (Android: Add account).
- Choose Enterprise Login (Android: Enterprise login) and sign in with the other company's login.
- Switch between them from the menu.
If you got an email saying you've been given access to a company you don't know, reach out to the owner named in that email.
For owners
If you added someone with an email already used on another Enterprise account, it won't save. Have them use a different email.
