Short answer: Your users log in inside the app with the email and password you set up for them in Teams. They don't connect their own Stripe account.
First, a heads-up: your users won't have access to the Teams website at enterprise.payment.co. That's the admin dashboard, and it's yours alone. You add and manage users there once you've connected your Stripe account.
After you create their accounts, each user gets an email prompting them to download the app. Once it's installed, logging in takes a few taps:
Download and open the app (iOS or Android)
-
On iOS: tap the three-dots menu (•••) in the top-right corner of the welcome screen, then choose Enterprise Login.
- On Android: tap the three-dots menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of the welcome screen, then choose Enterprise Login.
From there, your users enter the email and password tied to their Teams account, and they're in.
One thing to flag for your team: the main Sign in with Stripe button on the welcome screen is for business owners connecting their own Stripe account, not for Teams users. Your team should always go in through Enterprise Login in the menu.
What will my team see in the app?
Every staff login can take payments and give refunds. Staff can't log in to your Stripe account or the Teams site. You choose which menus they see, like Payments, Customers and Invoices, in App Customization. More in Add staff and set permissions.
Can each person see only their own products?
Yes. Tag products in Stripe, then give that person a Product list under Users. Steps: Show each staff member only their products.
How do I keep customer emails without sending Stripe receipts?
Log in at enterprise.payment.co, open App Customization, and under Stripe receipts choose Never send Stripe receipts. It applies to every device on your team.
After a payment, your team taps Save email. The buyer's email is saved on their Stripe customer, and Stripe doesn't send a receipt.
- Each device decides: staff turn Send Stripe receipts on or off in the app's settings.
- Always send Stripe receipts: every device sends them. Staff can't turn it off.
- Never send Stripe receipts: no device sends them.
Also turn off Successful payments in your Stripe Dashboard under Settings > Customer emails. When it's on, Stripe emails every customer that has an email address, no matter what the app does.
Sending your own receipts? The email reaches the Stripe customer a few seconds after the payment succeeds. Send yours from the customer.created and customer.updated webhooks, not charge.succeeded.
Why does Payments show a customer's email instead of what was sold?
On app version 16.0.3 or later, each row in Payments shows the items sold, like "2x Tote Bag". Sales without items show the receipt email, then the payment description. Older versions show the receipt email first, so update the app on every device.
