Short answer: Yes, you can register as many S700 or S710 readers as you need to one Stripe account. The app connects to one at a time, and you choose which from a list.
Add another reader
Register each reader to a location in your Stripe account, with its registration code (see the S700 install guide). You can also register one from the app's smart reader list: Register on iPhone, Register new Terminal on Android.
Choose which reader to use
On iPhone:
- Open the menu and tap Connect Card Reader, then your reader model under Smart Readers.
- Every reader on your account shows up, with its serial number, model, and a dot for whether it's online.
- Tap the one you want. A checkmark shows the connected reader.
On Android:
- Tap Connect reader, then Smart reader.
- In Select reader, each row shows the reader's name, Online or Offline, its location, and its serial number.
- Tap the one you want.
Readers from every location on your account are listed. If a reader has no location yet, the app asks you to pick one.
Switch readers
Disconnect the current one first (Tap to disconnect on iPhone, Disconnect reader on Android), then pick the other. Each reader connects to one device at a time.
Tip: give each reader a clear name when you register it in your Stripe Dashboard, so it's easy to spot in the list. The serial number is on the back of the reader.
