Using Stripe Reader M2 with the Payment iOS app

  1. Start by turning the reader on by pressing the power button the side of the unit.
  2. Next, you'll need to download and open the Payment for Stripe app.
  3. Navigate to the Settings menu by pressing the gear in the upper left hand corner.

  4. Navigate to the Connect Card Readers section.

  5. Choose the Stripe M2 Reader

  6. Press the card reader that matches the Serial Number on the back of the card reader. The app will attempt to connect to the reader.

  7. Enter an amount, and press Next. If the card reader is connected, you will be prompted to interact with the card reader device:

  8. Press Begin Transaction, and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.
