Using Stripe Reader M2 with the Payment iOS app

The Stripe Reader M2 is a pocket-sized Bluetooth reader. Here's how to pair it with the Payment for Stripe app on your iPhone or iPad.

1. Turn the reader on with the power button on its side.
2. Open Payment for Stripe, go to the menu, and tap Connect Card Reader.
3. Under Bluetooth Readers, choose Stripe Reader M2.
   
4. Pick the reader whose serial number matches the one on the back of your M2. The app connects over Bluetooth (it may install a firmware update the first time).
5. Enter an amount, tap Next, then follow the prompt to tap, insert, or swipe the card on the reader.

That's it — you're taking in-person payments with the M2.
