Using the BBPOS Chipper 2X BT card reader on Android

The BBPOS Chipper 2X BT is an older Bluetooth reader. It still works with the app, but it's no longer sold — newer readers like the Stripe Reader M2 have replaced it. If you already have one, here's how to use it on Android.

1. Make sure location services are enabled for the Payment app, and turn the reader on.
2. Open the app, tap the menu icon (top-left), and tap Connect Bluetooth Reader.
3. Choose BBPOS Chipper 2X BT and pair the one whose serial number matches your reader.
4. Enter an amount, tap the arrow to continue, then follow the prompt to tap, insert, or swipe the card.
