How can I make a test charge?

To do a test run of the app, our suggestion would be to enter a small amount like $1.00 and go through the flow with your own credit card. Upon a successful charge, you will be presented with a screen which will allow you to immediately refund that charge. Super simple, and shouldn't take more than a minute.

A test charge is a real charge, so fees apply. Refunding it in the app returns our app fee, but Stripe's processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ in the U.S.) is set and kept by Stripe and is not returned.

Accounts created on or after September 9, 2026 have a 15¢ minimum app fee per transaction, so a $1.00 test charge is charged 15¢ rather than 1.2%. Accounts created before that date are charged 1.2% with no minimum.

Unfortunately, you cannot toggle the app to be in Stripe's TEST MODE.
