The app works with Stripe Terminal readers. Today that's:
- Stripe Reader M2 — pocket-sized Bluetooth reader
- BBPOS WisePad 3 — portable Bluetooth reader, great for travel
- BBPOS WisePOS E — countertop smart reader (WiFi)
- Stripe Reader S700/S710 — all-in-one smart reader that runs the app on the device
- Tap to Pay on iPhone — no reader needed; accept contactless payments on a supported iPhone
You'll see all of these in the app under Connect Card Reader:
The older BBPOS Chipper 2X BT still works but is no longer sold. Order any current reader from the Stripe Terminal shop at dashboard.stripe.com/terminal/shop — readers bought elsewhere, like Amazon, are locked to other platforms and won't pair.
